New Construction Roofing
Roofing for New Homes, Built Right From Day One

A New Home Deserves a Roof Done Right
The Same Standard as Every Roof We Install
A new build is the one chance to get the roof right from the first sheet of underlayment. We roof new residential construction with the same manufacturer-spec install we use on every re-roof: synthetic underlayment, proper ventilation, and flashing at every wall, valley, and penetration.
Why the Build Stage Matters
On a new home, the roof goes onto new decking, and the ventilation and flashing can be set up while the framing is still open. Those are the parts that are hardest to fix later, once siding and trim cover the joints where walls meet the roof. That’s why they get the most attention while the house is still open.
Clear Stages From Start to Close-Out
We track every roofing job through the same stages: scheduled, installing, in progress, finished and waiting on final inspection, final inspection passed, and closed out. An assigned crew does the work, and its photos go into the project record as the roof goes on. The job closes out only after it passes its final inspection.
Choosing a Roof for a New Home
For a new home, the right roof depends on the design of the house and the weather where it sits. We install architectural shingles, including GAF, as well as metal and concrete tile. Metal suits a lot of mountain and modern homes, and tile fits some designs well. If the plans still have room to change, we can talk through the options before the roof goes on.
Covered From Day One
A new roof from us carries our 10-year workmanship warranty, and the products carry the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

New Construction Questions
Do you roof new construction?
Yes. We roof new residential builds, from townhome rows to custom homes, with the same manufacturer-spec install we use on every roof.
What roofing and siding materials do you install?
Most of our roofs use GAF shingles, and we also install metal and concrete tile. For siding, we mostly install James Hardie fiber cement, including ColorPlus finishes.
What goes under the shingles on a new build?
The same system we put under every roof we install: synthetic underlayment, proper ventilation, and flashing at every wall, valley, and penetration, all to the manufacturer’s spec.
